4Armitron Men's 204406BISV Automatic Silver-Tone with Black and Blue Accents Dress Watch  Jun 29, 2010
Amazing beautiful watch. Received lots of compliments for friends. You would be amazed by the watch. Would like to give it 5 star rating however the link scratch easily.

1Shipped Back within 72 hours :(  Mar 22, 2010
I've seen some wonderful reviews of this product and I was really hopeful that I would be adding to that pool but unfortunately I couldn't drink the kool-aid.

The watch's self-winding mechanism (rotor etc.) failed to work properly even though I wear my watch 24/7 (too lazy to take off for sleep). Either the rotor was not winding the clockspring properly or there was some other mechanical defect but I noticed the watch would "stop" for short periods of time. On day two, I was 20 minutes late for a meeting so I became suspicious of my new watch. Over the next two days the watch stopped three more times. One morning I woke up and the watch was stopped dead at 2AM. Even if you gave the benefit of the doubt that the rotor doesn't turn while you are sleeping, by stopping at 2AM it would mean the watch only had a 2 hour power reserve (went to bed at midnight). Woke up and printed my RETURN GOODS FORMS.

It would be unfair to rate this watch solely on the fact that I got a bad one so let me give you my take on the rest:

1. The watch looks cheap. Despite having the 'skeleton' face and seeing the movement (which is fun) the rest of the watch face looks very cheap. The lack of rotating bezel renders the diver's marks useless. And because the bezel in part of the watch body it blends thus creating a cheap look (it's impersonating a function it doesn't have).

2. No Date - may or may not be a deal breaker for you but for an everyday watch date is important to me.

IMHO you can do much better than this for the same price. Take a look at the Amazon ORIENT Watch store. I have two of these watches now and both are stunning and <$150. If you can invest an extra $100 ($250) you can get yourself a watch on Amazon that you'll possibly hand down to your children. This Armitron is NOT that watch.

5Love the watch  Jan 01, 2010
Very nice watch. I love it. The movement is very nice. Very easy to size. I wind it when i dont wear if for a full day, but even then it has not stopped on me. I just do it to be sure. You can see the spring inside and know how tight it is wound, that is nice.

5New Customer In Waiting ...  Oct 27, 2009
I shopped 3 different Wallyworld locations yesterday looking for an automatic watch, and was shocked to see they had some generic junk there for $50. They had only a 1 year warranty, and were made completely in China and didn't come close to the styling of this Armitron watch, which I basically had to have as soon as I saw it.

I decided to wait and shop online instead of throwing $131 towards Wal-Mart (they get enough of my money already), and found it was more than $15 cheaper here. Needless to say, I grabbed this ASAP. Just waiting for the snail to deliver it to me so I can stare at the movements for an hour or so, lol.

Anyone looking for a high quality timepiece (not just a basic "watch") should seriously consider investing in this gem. Plus, you cannot beat (anywhere) getting a Lifetime Warranty from any manufacturer, so that was the last selling point that set this purchase in stone. I can't see needing another watch again in my lifetime, and I've been through quite a few different ones.

5Good gift  Aug 31, 2009
I recive this watch on my bithday I thought armitron no a well know brand but I had this watch for already 2 years and works very good like a seiko and is a interenting looking watch, the only small problem you have to wear every day if not it will stop in about 60 hours when is wind all the way, gain 30 seconds a month that's good in a automatic watch ,if you want a watch to use daily I highly recommend this watch.
