Nice watch but not for everyday wear May 12, 2010

I was very hesitant to order this watch given the fragility expressed by another owner. However, I found that it is nicely made and a good gift for any Narnia fan. Maybe the other one was a fluke or something. I certainly wouldn't ever just tear the strap off, and I was careful when I removed the watch from the pouch to look at the back. The chances of it catching on something and coming off or coming apart are too great-- it sticks out from my wrist quite a bit more than an average watch. It's delicate, and I can see it coming apart with daily wear, especially if you don't remain aware that you have a collectible on your wrist. The case is just as lovely as the watch, and looks really good displayed next to my miniature wardrobe replica. I wouldn't recommend this for daily wear, but rather for the collector and occasional use. Narnia enthusiasts who handle it with care will be very pleased with it.

By Kellie M. Hull My boyfriend bought me this watch when it went on sale for $30 and i was super excited because i thought 70% off was such a great deal. as i put it on it fits well and nice and he asks to see the little metal thing inside of it. I go to unbutton and take it out and the stitching on the leaterh rips and there goes my watch.. within 30 mintues demolished. Crappy quality band and stitching is what made me knock it down 3 stars but the metal watch part itself was cool looking.. i guess thats all i have left
