I very beautiful watch; however, I have cracked the crystal twice and have no idea how. Sent it in to get repaired and it came back brand new looking..awesome!! Then one day later the crystal was cracked again. Now what? Don't want to spend the $35 to get it fixed again. If you are remotely handy around the house avoid this watch. It is to sensitive.

I called up Skagen and told them my sad story and without hesitation they sent me a new watch free of charge. Now I have a beautiful watch I'm scared to wear, but at least it is not broken and I"m not out any more $$$.
I give Skagen two thumbs up.

Got this for my fiance, who works in medicine. Easy-to-read face, lovely design details, seemingly weightless feel is very unobtrusive on the job. The slim, very smooth finish leather band is comfortable and easy to keep clean - no linky hidey holes for germs and yuck. Overall, a great purchase and good price at Amazon, quick ship & safe packaging, arrived in good shape.

Skagen's are known for being really really thin which have grown on me ever since my first one (Skagen Men's 433LSL1 Slim Brown Leather Watch). They are really great time keepers, and the simple watch face allows the wearer to easily tell what time it is (afterall, isn't that the point of a watch?) If I wanted to bash someone's teeth out or wear a mini astrolabe, I'd buy a breitling chronograph. The price is also a fantastic buy, especially for a college student like me.

I bought two of these watches, the brown one and the black one. The brown one was clearly new -- it had the sticky little plastic on the face, it was attached to the little wrist-like holder, it looked new.
Then I opened the black one -- when I opened the box it fell right out. Wasn't attached or anything. No sticky little plastic on the face. Several of the strap holes had clearly had the fastening pin put through them several times. One of the straps had clear marks from being worn.
Someone wore this watch for a week or two, decided they didn't like it, and returned it. Then Amazon sold it to me!!!! I've never been so upset at Amazon.
