Excellent timepiece! Mar 29, 2010
By J. Peterson I bought this watch for my wife and her marathon running, she absolutely adores it! Once we set all the calculations it's a flawless piece. We did all the measuring for walk, jog & run stride lengths and steps per minute for each as well (which is a bit painstaking taking up to 15 minutes of your time...a whole 15 minutes, geez) she never has to worry about it being off ever again...and me being rather anal I even checked distances against it on my bike, car and web, perfect! I highly recommend you do this for accuracy. Like Ron says..."set it and forget it!"
Now, as to what everyone else is complaining about..."too big" I just have to say "HUH"? Have you looked at watches these days? THIS is too BIG? Something from Alice in Wonderland is too big. It does have a large face, though no bigger than my sport or designer watches, I don't know what these sporty people expect to be able to read on a smaller face while jogging & swimming. You know this is for outdoors, right, not exquisite dining at the White House?
Other complaints seem to be "user error" not the watches, I don't see your reviews as helpful for or against.
My wife and I highly recommend this watch for runners who want to concentrate on your run and not counting or checking your watch. She's had several pedometers in the past and they all died quickly or were inaccurate that I though I'd step it up a notch for her with this, boy did I ever. She now says she enjoys her "worry free runs".

Great Running Watch Jan 18, 2009
By K. Bielek I got this watch for my sister for Christmas. After calibrating it it has been very accurate and reliable. She is a marathoner and she says it is a must have for both training and racing.

Very good value. Dec 05, 2010
By Jenn I got the watch to run with and it has been great. It tells me how far I run on the back roads around my house. The only bad thing is you have to make sure you put the piece on your hip in the right spot or else you will get a different distance everytime. Other than that I do love this watch and it is a lot cheaper than buying a GPS watch. Very well worth the purchase.

Does the job Jul 12, 2009
By Happy Skywalker I have a small wrist, and I'm not sure what the other reviewer's wrists are like, but this fits me fine. Also, there are + and - markings on the face of the watch marking designated buttons that I can see easily (someone complained of no such buttons or not being able to see the markings, but how can you not have seen them, you mention them?). I think this thing is great, I'm not sure what was in everybody else's watch box.

By clares Does exactly what i wanted it to do (and she liked the colour!). My sister works with high performance athletes so i knew we couldn't compromise on function but didn't want to spend a fortune...perfect gift.
