| | Description | From Casio, a towering edifice in the watch world comes the Casio Men's Edifice Stainless Steel Multi-Function Chronograph Watch. It kicks off with a 45.8mm stainless steel case with a black-toned stainless steel stationary bezel. The crown and pushers grace both sides of the stainless steel case. These elements cradle a black dial that is a flurry of function protected by a mineral crystal. The dial features silver-toned luminous hour markers and hands powered by precise quartz movement. The dial also features chronograph sub-dials with 1/100-second, day, 60-second and 24-hour displays. A three-link stainless steel bracelet straps this watch to the wrist, while a fold-over push-button safety clasp makes sure it stays there. This watch also features solar power, a full auto calendar and water resistance up to 330 feet (100 meters). | |

Solid watch Jan 25, 2011
By applefanboy Have had this watch for a few days now and I am impressed. I normally don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to here. It is a beautiful, sporty watch that seems durable and precise. The hands are not off, the solar power feature works well, and its very power efficient (second hand stops moving after the watch is not used for a few hours, for example when you go to sleep. However the watch still keeps internal time and once it wakes up, the second hand quickly shifts back to where it would have been had it been running all night, and it's almost like the watch hadn't gone to sleep). Solid band, not too heavy but not too light either. Face looks beautiful, very well designed.
Now it does have a steep learning curve. It took me a few hours to understand everything and set the watch, however don't let that deter you it is a great watch for the money. I searched around A LOT before finding this watch, and compared to my friend's eco drive, I'd rather have this watch.

Solid Watch For the Price Dec 23, 2010

I was aiming for yet another citizen eco-drive, having couple of them already, and I was surprised to see a nice looking, fairly priced, solar powered chronograph by Casio... I am type of the person that buys watches based on their appeal rather than a name brand. I love the look of this watch; it looks sporty and modern... It feels expensive because of the material quality, its features and weight. It has panel which show days of the week while other features, such as month and a year, can be accessed in the sub-menu. You can change your time zones relative to where you reside. In total there are 29 cities to choose from and this could be useful feature for the people who are doing a lot of travelling. There is a stop watch, that I rarely use, which some people could find useful. The alarm feature is also present and the alarm will sound for 10 seconds at the given time. The case is polished stainless steel while band is only brushed. I know some people might find this little bit odd or displeasing but I prefer this because most of the damage/scratches occur on the band itself. Scratches on the brushed material seem to be less vivid than on polished ones, well at least to me. All in all this is a solid watch and the reason I gave it a 5/5 was its price and the solar power energy source.

great watch Apr 11, 2011
By Jon Nice mid-range sport watch. Comparable to a Seiko, or a bit nicer. Pretty simple function with just a stopwatch and alternate city time. The time is self setting, and has been accurate so far. I wish the bezel moved but is just for show.

Excelent Choice Nov 08, 2011
By HC2DZ I am more than satisfied with this Casio Edifice. Well build and nice looks. The watch is everything I read on the technichal information. It might be a little complicated to set it up, but with a little patience you'll get to it. At first I wasa reading the instruction in Spanish, then I decided for the English version. It was the solution. Maybe if I may sugest is to have the Spanish instructions review as they might confused those not speaking English. For the rest, all I can say is GO FOR IT.

If you're thinking of getting it, Get it! Oct 05, 2011
By NoiPi I have this watch for a couple of months now. I like it a lot. Very well made, and very nice looking. Learning all of its functionality is very fun, and it's not hard to follow the manual. All in all, it's a good buy for this watch. Since it is solar powered, you'll never have to replace any battery. Just a note though that this watch will automatically set itself in an idle position when not in used for like a day or few, which is a good thing because it saves the juice. But one tap on the upper right button and it will put itself back to the right time. You'll never have to set this time again, once you set it up once. You'll also able to find the time all over the world with this watch. It has timer too. Very accurate watch.
