Cool looking but slightly difficult to read face Aug 04, 2009

This is a replacement for a previous Casio watch Casio Men's Ana-Digi Electro-Luminescent Sport Watch #AQ160W-1BV. I never owned a G-shock before but i'm glad I do now. One of the biggest reasons is that the face of the watch is inset rather then level. This means no more scratches on the glass or crystal as it is sometimes referred to. Another great feature is the buttons are also inset so no more switching modes or functions from moving your wrist.
My only complaint is that the digital date and time is very very small and the actual hands are a bit small too but readable. The overall design is comfortable, it has a very wide band and the face size is only slightly bigger then the other watch I had. This model has a funky multi-colored stainless steel ring around the watch that looked bluer in the photo but is more gay rainbow looking but not too bad.
So far I like the watch and I'm glad I purchased it because of its ruggedness. I'll update in a few months if I see any issues.

It is a cool G-Shock the second one I got :), so I wanted a little different then others, it is smaller than the
previous G-Shock I had, but it goes well with formal attires and even goes under the sleeves.

On receiving the watch my first impression of the product was I was very impressed by the way it looked.
The colourful surround was far better to see than from the static photograph on the web page. My only down
side to the watch is a minor one the function to show the date is nip picking at best but I do like that
ability on a watch. That said I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to everyone interested in a different style of time peace.

This is a great looking watch and very comfortable to wear. I have another Casio G Shock that I have put through the test of time and it has never failed me. I feel that this one will do the same.
