Description

The CH2601 Analog Chronograph Watch from Fossil is the perfect way to stay punctual. From timeless classics to the latest fashions, Fossil is sure to have the timepiece that perfectly compliments your unique sense of style. Founded in 1984 when timepieces were created more for function than fashion, Fossil began to transform this notion with its unique combination of vintage 1950s Americana design and affordably accessible cool style. Adding to their collectability were the one-of-a-kind, trademark tins that came with the watches that mixed a creative spirit with a sense of humor. These iconic boxes are nearly as popular as the watches they hold and are regularly collected and traded throughout the world at flea markets, antique shops, and on eBay.

Today, Fossil produces over 300 different styles of watches in a continuously changing lineup. While the majority of designs are created by in-house designers, Fossil has reached out to such contemporary artisans as product designer Philip Starck and famed architect Frank Gehry (designer of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain) to create uniquely modern timepieces. In addition to style innovations, Fossil has also helped introduce innovative technologies into watches, such as the Wrist PDA that ran the Palm operating system. Fossil also offers complementary lines of small leather goods, belts, handbags, sunglasses, jewelry and apparel.

5One Awesome Chronograph!  Nov 05, 2010 By Kristopher Contreras
Hello All, Yet another watch review by your's truly if you have been following. Any who, The Fossil Decker Black Chronograph Fits the bill when looking for an all black chronograph within a budget. Believe me, looking for an all black chronograph is tough considering some of the choices out there ranging from Chase Durer, to MTM, Traser and Luminox just to name a few brands. This Chronograph came about during a Trip to Atlantic City, when Spotted, I was really impressed by the look, finish and feel of the watch. For the Price, the bracelet is rather sturdy, the ion-plating finish as well is tremendously well done. One unique feature that I found particularly interesting about the watch was it's chronograph function. Usually on a chronograph watch, to measure elapsed time the Second hand is used and is usually replaced by the hand normally found on a three hand watch (Hope I'm not loosing anyone :))What's unique about the Fossil is that the chronograph function is done in the background using the three sub-dials found on the face. The bottom one is 1 second, Left one 1 Minute, Top one 1/100th of a second. The time is kept regularly on the top section of the face via minute, hour and second hand. And of course there is a date window on the 4 o'clock position. Another bonus on this feature packed watch is that the hands and even the chronograph needles glow in the dark. On top of everything else, It's water resistant to a good 100ft. All in all, it satisfied my taste in a search that took rather long.

2Not sure if I just got a bad one...  Dec 20, 2011 By Ben Butler
Probably after the first few months, I noticed that one of the Dials on my Chronograph was not winding back to zero when I reset. Then a bit later, I started noticing some water seemed to have gotten inside and was beading on the top of the glass when it heated up on my wrist. Just to be clear, I didn't go swimming with it, or anything water-related. Basically the only way the water could have gotten in is when I was washing my hands. I kept it for awhile hoping the water would go away, but it didn't. Anyway, just felt like it wasn't great quality. I loved the look of the watch and was excited about it at first. Kind of a disappointment, and I ended up returning it. I'm very hesitant to buy another Fossil after this experience, but again, maybe I just got a bad apple. It obviously happens. Hopefully this is helpful.

3Nice looking watch  Aug 19, 2011 By C. Kluzak
Watch looks nice and works great, but after receiving it the second hand stopped working completely so I had to send it in to get fixed. That was no biggie except I had to cover shipping to and from the repair facility which in my opinion is complete crap seeing as I hadn't had the watch for a week yet. Since being fixed it has worked fine. The paint is not very good on the band and can be worn off very quickly. This watch is very nice. Just don't wear it as a daily item or the paint will disappear quickly. Currently I'm looking for one that is almost the same but with an unpainted, polished finish. If you want a watch to wear for special occasions (weddings, important meetings or any other time you wear formal dress) this is great, otherwise look for one similar with an unpainted, polished finish or go with a different brand.

2not a great watch  Mar 19, 2012 By willionaire
This was given as a present. It looks great but the clasp has broken 3 times and the watch doesn't seem to keep steady time. Thumbs down for a watch of this price.
