Great watch Mar 21, 2008
By K. Doyle This is a great watch - looks sharp and keeps perfect time. The only thing that I have a gripe with is that the glow in the dark hands are not that bright. That is minor, though. BTW - I got a great deal on this watch at the Seiko outlet in Massachusetts - $79.00.

BEWARE - must set alarm every 12 hours!!!! Dec 29, 2011
By ny6254 This is a great, stylish watch, but beware!! No where does it tell you that if you'd like to use the alarm, you have to reset it every 12 hours, and it is not possible to set it for further than 12 hours from the current time. Additionally, every time you set the alarm, the clock stops running, so they caution you to set your watch a few minutes ahead of time to account for the time you will lose while setting the alarm. Even more inconvenient, every time you go to reset the alarm, the hands of the alarm spin around to the current time and you have to reset. There is no way to just reactivate the alarm for the current time that it is set at.
Again, this is a wonderful watch that is very nice, but if you're looking for one to use an alarm for every day use, this is probably not the watch for you as it is very tedious.

Sharp looking, well functioning watch Mar 05, 2009

I've had this watch for over a year now, and I have no complaints. It looks great with almost anything and has a tough finish that doesn't scratch or scuff (the metal or the crystal). The blue face is understated but brilliant in the light.
The built-in timer and alarm functions are nice, although I rarely use them. I agree with the other review that the nite-glo hands are not that bright, though that's a minor issue.
All in all, a great watch.

Very nice watch Jan 09, 2011
By Scythe I've been a Seiko fan since I was a teenager. My father gave me a Seiko on my birthday when I was 12, and I had that watch well into my 20's.
After buying Casio, TImex, etc. for the last few years I finally decided I needed another Seiko. I wanted a Chronograph watch and choose this one.
It keeps time well, the features work and are easy to use (read the manual) and it is a nice looking watch. I highly recommend this watch.

Great do it all watch! Dec 07, 2010

I have worn this watch for approximately 1050 days since I purchased it October 2007. The military made me time conscious, so I only remove the watch to shower. It has the usual wear on the band and crystal with some character scratches. I feel comfortable wearing it with business attire as well as cargo shorts and a tee shirt. The watch is running on the same battery since new and has functioned as advertised. I have recieved a few compliments from the ladies, but bought it primarily as a casual wear timepiece.
