Good watch with some setbacks Aug 17, 2010
By M. Chu I bought this watch at least a year and a half ago because I loved the white color, and the fact that it was on a "plastic" band. Rubber bands on Baby-G watches make my wrists sweat, and I didn't want to sweat on a leather banded Swatch. The feeling isn't very nice, not to mention the sweat is soaked into the leather. I went for this watch because I really wanted a watch that was versatile with the majority of my clothes, and didn't have the problem I have with rubber or leather bands.
It gets 5 stars for its look and feel. I bought this in a nearby mall and had the guy punch a few extra holes up top because my wrist is smaller than average. The magnified day of the week and date was an added plus. It looks classy, yet modern and cool.
It does, like the other reviews, tick quite loudly. During exams, I have to put my watch into my backpack or the constant loud ticking will drive me nuts. Other than that, during usual use during classes or daily wear, it has not bothered me that much.
The strap does start to peel after about 6-7 months I would say. It starts peeling around the hole you usually put it in, and then it starts cracking and peeling around the other holes. I started to get really annoyed with this, because the plastic that was peeling sometimes got dirty and looked "black-tinged". One day, out of rage, I decided to peel off the entire bottom plastic band. It comes off really easily, and underneath is another very clean and the original white strap. It doesn't look as glossy as the plastic strap, but it doesn't look that much different. My top strap with the buckle hasn't peeled, but comparing the two, they really don't look that different. Upon this discovery, I decided that it wasn't a big deal.
Overall, the watch gets 5 stars for it's look, but 3 stars for the ticking and the band peeling. But if you peel it off entirely (it comes off quite easily), the watch looks good as new. Plus it's a lot easier to clean the marks from the band because they just come off with some water and maybe a little soap. For this reason, I give it 4 stars.
Another bonus: the hands of the watch sometimes glows in the dark! I realized this working putting X-rays in a dental office and could see the time.

Swatch Snowcovered White Unisex Watch GK733 Aug 28, 2009
By K. Shanahan I've had the watch for 4 weeks now and the band is already pealing. I make a point to take it off for showers and bed, and yet it is still quickly showing signs of wear and tear.

Decent Enough Jul 20, 2010
By ZimZim The watch ticks, loudly. I bought online so had no way of knowing, I can't wear while reading because of the ticking. I've had for about a month and the band has started to peel. Good looking thats about it.

Regular, every day swatch that you love ! Oct 29, 2011
By chocobiskit As a Swatch fiend I can say it's a lovely, regular watch that goes with everything and on almost any occasion. Clean, simple, fresh looking design that brightens my day up ! Yes, the plastic cover on the strap peeled slightly off at the corner after 5 months of every day use. That's a usual downside of this type of swatch.
