| | Description | While it looks like a sturdy but casual watch, this Timex Expedition is built to excel just about anywhere you take it, as demonstrated by its most celebrated owner, Everest mountaineer Conrad Anker. The hands are illuminated, and the silver dial also features the Indiglo night light function and a date calendar at the three o'clock position. Arabic numerals and full indexes allow for easy time-keeping in any situation. The gray strap is nylon with pink accents matching the second hand and the illuminated pink numerals denoting military hours. The metal case is water resistant to 165 feet (50 meters), the black bezel is aluminum. The watch uses analog-quartz movement. | |

Love the Watch - 42591 Jun 15, 2008

"Queen of Plastic"
My 15+ yr old Timex Expedition stopped working. I'm all about the pink so I had to order this watch as a replacement. The watch arrived earlier then expected and was packaged well. I've had the watch for a month now. The watch runs well and I like the pink Indiglo. The strap is long for my 6.25" wrist, but manageable with the strap guard/holder. I found the strap to be a little stiff in the beginning but has softened some with use. Overall I am loving the watch.

Got this watch for kayaking and other outdoor sports as I like its easy to read numbers and the fact that it is water resistant. The pink indiglo "night light" was a cool surprise. It also has military time on there which is helpful because I can never remember w/o counting on my fingers! :-) Slim design and comfortable. Have found myself wearing it to work at the hospital - very cute!

cute and casual Oct 15, 2010
By belle I can define my style as casual, and sporty on weekends. I love this watch, I can wear it anytime. The size is OK for my very thin wrist, I could not have a bigger watch. I gave 4/5 because the strap is really long. It turns to the opposite side of my wrist and the tip touches the watch! Be aware, this is not unisex, this is for women, it's very feminine.

Great Casual/Work Watch Nov 05, 2011
By Linda L. After reading most of the reviews for this watch I decided to purchase it. I'm glad I did. Though the band is a bit stiff, with some manipulation and just wearing it will soften it up a bit. I'm sure that with time it will get even softer. The band is also made for an average wrist and is not too small. I'm not sure if it is too large for a small lady's wrist, but from medium to even large it fits well. The stay that holds the excess band in place after it is secured is one of those loose ones that will move around, but I rolled the excess band underneath it, which bulks up the excess band, and holds the stay in place. The date on this watch is day only (not month), but it is really, really tiny and is hard to read. The hour and minute hands are readily visible, although the second hand is very fine, but that's not really a problem if you're watching it to count seconds. The indiglo light is pink and lights the dial very well in the dark. I'm not a person who likes large watches, so I was a bit worried about this being one of the larger sizes that are stylish now. It isn't too large. It is a nice mid-size; not too small, not too large. I'm very happy with this watch. It is a great casual watch. I'm glad I bought it.

Rough wristband Sep 23, 2011
By loves diamonds I am returning this product because the wristband is rough and not flexible. It is a beautiful looking watch but the band just doesn't work for me.
