Good-looking yet simply short of modern quality standards Nov 14, 2011
By ggg I have owned a very close two-tone cousin of this watch (think SNA347 in silver/gold), based on the same 7T62 movement and 0AP0 case, for six and a half years. The alarm quit on me after two years and the chronograph did so just a few days ago. This is well short of the quality standards set by Japanese industry in general and Seiko in particular--why, I have had Swatches and Casios last longer. That's really too bad because this watch is accurate, comfortable to wear, and good-looking to boot. The chrono hand that moves across the dial in 1/5 second increments, like a true mechanical chronograph would, is a nice feature hard to find in the quartz world and at that price range. If only the quality was right...
