Seiko Quality of Workmanship & Design Continues To Please Oct 12, 2011
By Grosse Pointe Attorney Having enjoyed wearing Seiko watches for well over 30 years, I had high expectations for my first Seiko kinetic. These high expectations have be met. The watch is keeping excellent time and I am pleased with its smart style; its understated, non-flashy elegance complements my conservative style. Its two-tone colors go well with the entire color spectrum. I am very pleased to have gotten this excellent timepiece at a price far, far less than high-priced watch brands. My only minor irritation is its serial number is too tiny to read.
I look forward to many years of enjoying this timepiece and knowing that I will never have a battery die at a very impractical time.

Beautiful Watch Aug 13, 2011
By the Glipper I've had this watch for a little more than two months. I had the Seiko this replaced for over thirty years and it always kept perfect time between battery changes. The old one still looks good, but I decided that after thirty years it was due an honorable retirement; so I replaced the watch. This is one of Seiko's "Kinetic" line of watches that does not need a battery or to be wound. It charges itself by the movement of your arm, but unlike most self winding watches it does not need to be worn every day to keep it running. You can build up a charge that can last up to six months, and you can check the amount of charge remaining. This is perfect for me as I am retired and do not wear my watch every day. The watch is beautiful to look at, it is keeping perfect time, and if it lasts as long as my last Seiko it should be the last watch I will ever buy (I'm 65).
Heavy, fat watch Apr 17, 2012
By AccessTech I bought this watch to replace another Seiko watch about seven years old. I should have known that a watch lasting only 7 years is indicative of Seiko. However, it was relatively light and thin. This one is fat and heavy. The band cannot be adjusted to my medium wrist; either too large or too small. The grey face vs my old white faced Seiko watch is difficult to see with its skinny hands. I am going to sell this thing on E-Bay and spend the necessary bucks to repair my old Omega SeaMaster, which I should have done years ago. Bought my Omega in 1965.
