bought this product a few weeks back. been browsing through department store items last black friday and i saw this watch. i immediately loved its simple layout, classy, but elegant, a timepiece that would catch your attention not because it is flashy, but because like good swiss watches, they have that "presence" when worn. nice attention to details and it feels solid on the wrist. and good thing, amazon was offering the same item at about 40% less than department store prices. no second thoughts, immediately bought it. the item even arrived 2 days early, amazon tracking indicated arrival in 3 days, i was surprised UPS was knocking on the door 2 days ahead of schedule, thanks to the free shipping offer.
the details: 45mm crown, a good size for me, looks big if you have small wrists. the watch is hefty or solid, whatever suits the term.
black dial is classy, scratch proof sapphire 3 layer coating(with this price tag, it's hard to find a watch with sapphire crystal).
three eye chrono (depressed on the dial), total of 7 indicator hands, (1.hour, 2. minute, 3. small second,
4. 1/10th second, 5. sweeping second, 6. sweeping minute hand, and 7. 12 hr timer which runs continuously when chrono is set). date is adjusted if you wind down the crown until it gets past the "12 midnight", so no dedicated crown function for the date alone (not bad at all, other swiss watches do the same). the case back is nicely etched with the brand logo. even has the model no. and batch no engraved. finally the butterfly clasp is a nice touch. it gives the sense or feeling that the link is a single continuous watch band. some watch critics say the design was inspired by the victorinox "logo shield". by the shape and design, it looks like it. and critics love the design. the longer you wear it, the more you appreciate the details of this watch against other similarly priced watches. good deal, very good seller, fast delivery.

Hands down this is a great watch! the build quality is outstanding as it should be since its Swiss Army. You can't go wrong with this watch. the picture does no justice for it. Once you see it in person you can't take your eyes off it. Swiss army has never let me down. shipping was pretty quick too. I got it in Two days through regular postal mail. This is realy an eye catcher and will spark plenty of conversations when you wear it.

After having this peice in my cart on Amazon for over 18 months I finally decided to buy it. It arrived in Australia 12 days later. It is better than I expected.
I had travelled to allot of different Victoinox dealers to view this but nobody stocked it. I was quoted over $1100 dollars with a discount from a Victorinox dealer but still hadn't seen it. I am really happy with the watch. It is really elegant and classy but holds a sporty presence as well. It is large, heavy and modern with a huge flat crystal face that demands attention. A curved domed crystal glass would be nice but I am just hung up on Tag Carrera's. This watch really does hold it's own against the big Swiss Brands like Tag, Omega, Breitling & Rolex.
Allready people are asking me what sort of watch is that? If you can't afford a Tag like me, get this. You will be satisfied. The band is solid. The glass is anti-reflective and the face is big and heavy but not over done like some other brands. This is a good quality Swiss watch at a bargain Amazon price. The mechanism works well, not like some idiot reviewers have stated. It works as it should. Pay no attention to bad reviews.
Buy it! You won't be sorry!

First of all is very important to say that this watch doesn't come with the box shown on the amazon.com page. The one that I received it's very diferent from it.
That put the originality of the product in question. See, I've purchased this nice watch, but until now I still wondering if this is the one or not.
This is only because I've never bought anything from amazon.com that didn't come exactly as described. And I already bought a lot of stuff here. Besides that, everything seems to be normal.
Take care about two important things:
1)The watch looks really nice, but it's huge!
2)Forget about this nice box and manuals shown on the page. The one that comes with it it's a lot different: much more simpler.

I really like this watch and I tried to convince myself that I could pull it off but the face was just too big. I like watches with large faces but this one just seemed too flashy for an everyday watch.
