| | Description | Bring back the timepiece tradition of the pocket watch with this Wenger Standard Issue model, created by the maker of the genuine Swiss Army Knife and offering craftsmanship that will last for years. The large silver watch case measures 48mm wide (1.9 inches) and it's topped by a raised bezel with compass-like accents. The easily readable white dial includes a full Arabic numeral display (with smaller inset 24-hour notations), small minute indexes around the exterior, date window at 3 o'clock, and luminous baton hands. It also includes another hour hand in red that sets the alarm. It connects securely to a belt loop via the braided leather lanyard strap with stainless steel clip, and it comes with a brown genuine calfskin leather pouch. Other features include the classic Swiss Army insignia at 12 o'clock, , scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and water resistance to 30 meters--enabling it to withstand splashes and accidental dunks into the water, but not suitable for swimming. | |

Good sturdy watch Nov 05, 2006

If you like pocket watches that are work worthy , then buy this one. I use it as an alarm to wake up in the morning and use it all day long. The only reason I bought a new one was that I lost my other one! (I took it off it's tether and then lost it in a debris pile as I was working! Won't do that again!) It keeps time relatively well, I check mine monthly. All in all a good sturdy time piece.

it's ok...but Feb 15, 2007
By John H. Hopkin III i had had my watch less than 2 weeks when the leather strap came out of its connection to the watch...from the beginning, after seeing its construction, i had no faith in the leather-to-metal connection so i was careful not to put a lot of strain on the strap...no matter--it fell off anyway...the watch itself is very nice and keeps good time...i would recommend its purchase, but only if you buy a 3rd-party chain on which to wear it...

Wenger watches - absolute JUNK!!!!!! Aug 23, 2009
By SUCKER I purchased one of these watches then got another identical watch as a gift. Let me say that these watches are ABSOLUTE JUNK and that Wenger's customer service is abysmal. One of the watches stopped working within two weeks of me taking it out of the box. Wenger did replace the movement but I still had to pay $10 plus the cost of shipping the watch to them, which made me quite upset given the short time that the watch was functional. The other watch quit working within a year and when I sent it back Wenger wanted $60 to replace the movement. They also charged me the initial $10 just to look at the watch to tell me that.
I would never purchase another Wenger product of any kind and I do not recommend their products at all after this experience.

Pocket Watch Aug 09, 2007
By Denise H. Quartararo My husband was very pleased with the watch. He's had other pocket watches, but he really likes the way this one was made. It has a good protection with the leather case. I think he'll be very happy for many years.

Wenger-73000 The worst pocket watch ever made!!! Jan 12, 2007

I purchased this pocket watch lets say 1 week ago,and the leather rope chain fell out of the little holder and the swivel clip fell apart. I do not recommend this pocket watch to anyone. The watch isn't to bad, but when you buy somthing this expensive you don't want any part of it falling apart.
