Wenger® Men's Commando Chrono Swiss Watch #70896 Dec 09, 2008
By Jack
"Jack33"
This is a beautiful watch I have to say. I bought this watch from Amazon.com. The features of this watch on quality - price is reasonable. The watch comes in a steel box with the symbol of Wenger. Inside are a beautiful watch Wenger, THE MANUAL, but NOT THE OFFICIAL DOCUMENT MANUFACTURERS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR WENGER SA.
The band watch is stainless steel, strong and good quality. At first it seems big - 42mm - but eventually get used to it. The battery normally lasts 3 years if the feature chrono is not used much. The Movement swiss-quartz is precise. The Chrono works to perfection. The Watch has a high weight in comparison with other, if you do not like watches cases big and weight high not think about buying. The date dial is very small and luminous markers are little. It is a great Watch, you can use for sport and for formal meetings. Tips: 1. Before buying this watch, contact the seller -Amazon.com- to ask that type of WARRANTY has the item. 2. The watch is medium-high and the quality is perfect, but do not buy before asking because it can have an unpleasant surprise, DO NOT 3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FROM THE MANUFACTURER OR AMAZON.COM. 3. The Manual of watch Wenger is generic, there is no specific information Water Resistant, calendar, Tachometer, etc.
Handsome But Suseptible to Moisture Sep 14, 2011
By M. McClung For a diving watch, this piece allows moisture into the case far too easily. I had this watch only a month before water from the shower got inside and corroded the hands and dial. I've never taken this watch underwater since I don't dive, so I'm disappointed in how deficient the water resist feature is.
The watch itself is very handsome, particularly the band which is the most attractive feature of the watch. The case and dial are huge, so if you have a small wrist and arm this thing is like wearing a dinner plate around. It would be more attractive if it were a bit smaller.
Beautiful Chrono Watch, Good chronograp Dec 31, 2010
By Neille This watch is look nicer than other about the face, it's one of good timepiece with reasonable price, the chronograph has good function. It may be big to someone but also its big is something someone like. To one review about warranty, it's in the manual on some of last pages that state 3 year of warranty. I am happy with this watch.

Looks great... Would be nice if it worked... Jun 08, 2009
By Angelos Skordos This is really a great looking watch... I bought one as a gift, but it arrived with a dead battery. I had major trouble explaining to the folks at Amazon that a watch with a dead battery is basically defective... That you cannot simply replace it... Anyway, I ordered a replacement, which also arrived with the same issue. I wanted to order a third replacement but they wouldn't do so. I ended up buying another watch by another site... Wenger watches seem to have short battery life, or they are just sitting in storage for too long

A Decent Watch Dec 22, 2008
By David Schweizer
"Almawood"
I've had the watch now for three months and couldn't be happier. For the price it is doubtful that one could do better. There are, of course, better watches out there. This one appealed because of its reasonable price. It arrived on time in a splendid little box. I had to have the band sized but beyond that the thing is perfect. It fits well, looks good, without being pretentious. It is not too heavy; it is rather light in fact. The next step up clearly is into the fine Swiss watches, but this one has all the necessary components. I happen to like the red sweep hand and the larger hour and minute hands, but that is a matter of taste. Wenger is not a well-known name to me, but I have read some good reviews in high brow watch journals and believe this was a great buy.
