Nice watch! Mar 03, 2012
By TexasHobbist Great watch and has all the features that I wanted! The only problems I have it is a little thicker that I thought it would be I have trouble if I wear long sleeve button shirts. That is my own fault for not checking that dimension so I wear it with short sleeve and non-button sleeves only.
The second problem is I could not adjust the band quite right since you cannot use all the holes in the clasp. Even through the holes are there if you try to use all of them on either side, the contour of the molded clasp will not let use them. It is hard to describe with out a photo but my only choice was to mess around with the links and clasp until I could get it close and it ends up either too loose or too tight. I purchased a rubber band which works fine but ended up going back to the stainless because it looks so much better.
I had a cheaper Wenger for 15 years that was purchased from Sam's club and I abused it in every way possible. It still works fine although a little scuffed from swimming in the ocean a lot. This watch is even higher quality and looks so nice I will take better care but I really got it for being active outdoors since I have other dress watches. I think it will hold up really well.
