Disintegrated Aug 26, 2010
By Paige A Rossman The alarm works well but unfortunately the watch is made very cheaply (looks more like a $5 watch) and broke within the first 2 weeks(the wrist band tore and the face ring fell out). This happened during normal wear by a 7 year old girl. I like the idea of this watch but there must be other well made options out there.

Not made to last Feb 23, 2011
By Julia I bought this (in blue) for my nine year old son who has bladder issues and needs discrete reminders to use the bathroom. It functions as described, vibrating on the six times that we set it for throughout the day. The instructions are complicated, but clearly written, so I keep them handy so I can refer to them when we need to make changes. It would be nice if the programming were simple enough that he could do it himself. I made sure my son knew that the watch can't get wet at all because other reviewers said their watches died from small splashes of water.
Now for the bad part: My son has only worn this watch for two months, and it's FALLING APART! The velcro is worn to the point of being practically useless so the band keeps coming undone. Also, the face of the watch is made of cheap clear plastic, and it was scuffed and scratched within a week or so. The rest of the plastic on the watch is dented and scratched up pretty badly too. Of course, the warranty says it does not cover the straps or display screen. My son is not hard on watches. His Timex is still looking good, even after two years of daily use.
These watches just weren't made to withstand daily use by a kid. It's very disappointing, and considering how much I paid for this watch, I expected it to be of better quality. When this watch becomes unusable, I'm just going to go with the Ironman Midsize audible watch. It doesn't vibrate, but it's a high quality watch with that can be set for audible alarms at certain intervals. It's not ideal, but at least I know it won't end up in the garbage bin after only a few months.

good while it lasted Dec 29, 2010
By sjaniel This is a great idea for my daughter with overactive bladder. It kept her on a nice schedule until it stopped working within 2 months of purchase! I have read other reviews on other sites that all say the same things, too bad it is so cheaply made.

Fits well and does the job, but wears out quickly Jul 09, 2011

I bought this for my 6-year-old daughter, 4 months after I purchased the pink version. She needs a regular bathroom reminder. The first one worked well but is easily scratched and the buttons on the side fell out. Nonetheless, I couldn't find anything better to replace it so I bought another one. The second one is lasting a bit longer. The watch fits her wrist, and the vibration is not so loud that everyone is aware of it.

Not well engineered Feb 03, 2011
By TCC I bought this watch for my daughter two months ago. The battery has been replaced two times already. It is extremely difficult to replace the battery due to the design of the watch. The strap is so tightly sewn that the cover on the back of the watch cannot be easily removed.
